This symposium brings together a community of students, scientists and professionals from the state's dynamic science, technology, engineering and mathematics departments from surrounding academic institutions. Nearly 300 participants attend this event yearly, as attendees are provided a wealth of information regarding the advancement of science and campus diversity. Known to be one of the most valuable activities sponsored by the AGEM consortium, the symposium continuously proves to be an exciting and worthwhile event!

Registration Information |

Early registration for students to receive free lodging ended on December 13, 2009. There will be NO ON-SITE Registration. Registration fees are as follows:
Early Registration (On or Before December 13, 2009):
Students-$50.00
Faculty/Professional Staff-$100.00
Recruiters-$150.00
Late Registration (After December 13, 2009, free lodging for students will no longer apply. Faculty/staff/recruiters will have to contact the hotel to reserve their room. The housing option will no longer be available on the registration form). The following fees will apply:
Students-$75.00
Faculty/Professional Staff-$150.00
Recruiters-$150.00
Recruiters attending the entire symposium are required to pay $250. Recruiters who wish to attend the recruitment fair only are required to pay $150. For additional information regarding recruitment, please contact Andre' Heath at 601-266-6593.

Registrants can expect to indulge in reception style foods on the evening of Thursday, January 21, 2010. On Friday morning January 22, 2010, expect a refreshing breakfast with a lunch to follow at noon. Friday night will invite each participant to fine cuisine during the formal banquet. At last...Saturday, January 23, 2010 offers breakfast followed by closing activities. | |
